Kelly Somes’ work seeks to present common human experiences that are not easily shared and that frequently isolate individuals from their community. We give audiences the opportunity to see everyday realities normalised (exposing both laughter and sorrows) and make audiences more willing to share their own stories.

Working with diverse artists with strengths in multiple performance forms including dancers, singers, comedians/iennes, film makers and improvisers. Kelly’s work experiments with the integration of naturalistic text with visual theatre and physical theatre, music and song. Kelly has created work with a number of companies in Australia and has produced work under the banner of her company Soulart Productions.
